Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is defined as “an Elastomer with properties similar to vulcanized rubber at room temperature and properties similar to Thermoplastic resin after temperature rise, which can be molded or reshaped into a polymer or a polymer compound”.
TPEs can be classified as styrene TPE (named TPS), olefin TPE (TPO), vinyl chloride TPE (TPVC), polyurethane TPE (TPU), ester TPE (TPEE), amine TPE (TPAE) and other TPE.
